Two phones showing the book: a photo from Trieste, day 7, and a photo of Adina under a rocket in Colleferro, day 15
This is how it reads. Pages you turn with a finger, photos from the very day, on your phone.

You asked what I want for my birthday. This.

Our book. I say our, because you are in it. The man who gave me a roof. The woman who lent me a seat for one night. The biker who put me up when I had nowhere to go. The man at the gas station who said one sentence I will never forget. This is not a book about a trip around the world. It is a book about the people I met on the way, and most of you are reading this right now.

Every chapter has its day. Every day has its names.

Real days, real photos

Every page has its day.

Each chapter carries the photos from those exact days on the road.

Why I rode

One of yours said out loud what most men never say. I heard it across the Atlantic. I was at the bottom, and I was listening.

So I got on a 2011 Vespa named Adina, put GO BILLS on the plate, and rode ten thousand miles to shake the hand of a man I had never met. Through Russia on a train, Korea on a ferry, Japan with my girl, two months waiting for Adina in a customs warehouse in Vancouver, and then across America, one day at a time.

That is how the trip was ridden. That is how this book is read. And that is the only way sobriety is lived. One day at a time.

Where every dollar goes

Every dollar from this book builds MIIN, an app for men back home in Czechia who drink too much and will never hear Jordan Poyer, because they do not speak English. A bar where nobody pours. You got that voice for free from one of your own. They will get it from you.

Be one of the first.
The goal is $21,000.
The Road Crew

Order before November 1st and your name goes in the book.

Everyone who orders before the last chapter gets written goes on the last page, The Road Crew. In the app and in the paper edition. You rode the last ten days with me. That belongs in the book.

All twenty one chapters with photos. Yours forever, on any device.
The book and a day for MIIN$21

The book and the paperPrice soon
Everything above, plus a printed square full color paperback. We do not know the price yet. We are asking printers for quotes right now, and we will announce the exact price as soon as we have it.

I write this book in Czech, the language I think in. Lojza, the AI I work with, edits it, proofreads it, translates it and keeps the facts and the days straight. No publisher, no agent. The voice is mine. The mistakes are mine too.

Chapter 21 does not exist yet. It will be written on November 1st, after the Ravens game, and it will say whatever actually happens. I am not promising anything about that day. I am promising you will read it the morning after.

If anything goes wrong, or the book is not what you hoped, one email to [email protected] gets your money back. That is the whole policy.
